The last time we blogged The Penelopes (sorry, not doing the [] thing) it was to massively hype their single ‘Stuck In LalaLand’ and the very good 80Kidz remix that went with it. They have a new single out, ‘Licked By Love’ it’s taken from their album ‘Priceless Concrete Echoes’. Slightly odd video to follow….
The Penelopes([]なしでスイマセン)を最後にポストしたのは彼らのシングル’Stuck In LalaLand’が80Kidzのリミックスと共に話題になった時でしたが今回ニューシングル’Licked By Love’がリリース。コチラ新しいアルバム’Priceless Concrete Echoes’に収録されているトラックでそのちょっと不思議なビデオがコチラ。
The single release is backed with a cover from I Monster (remember them?) and lots of remixes, one of these remixes is from one of our favourite artists, The Lowbrows. It’s slightly different from their usual output, it’s a little bit funky and a little bit cute. But it’s still very enjoyable and contains a few trademarks of The Lowbrows sound. Go grab it!!!
このシングルのリリースにはI Monster(覚えてますか？)や他にも沢山のリミックスがついてきます。その中でも気になるのが私達もお気に入りのThe Lowbrowsでいつもの彼らの感じとは一味違うファンキーで可愛らしいリミックスになっています。その中でもThe Lowbrowsらしさもチラホラあったりでお勧めなので聴いてみてください。
