TL:DR
Too Many Sebastians was formed around August 2007. The blog is based in UK & Japan. Which should explain those strange characters you see underneath the English. It was initially just messing around, a way to share music with friends. It started to attract some attention around 2008 and we actually started to get emails from artists wanting their music posted. Around 2009, we got some advice (via shouting) from the man who created the Discodust blog and we kinda cleaned up the blogs act a little. It was very helpful advice.

It’s quite hard to remember most things, it’s pretty much nearly been five years (stuff got lost in the great blogspot cull) of Too Many Sebastians now. We’ve been credited with some cool stuff, like ‘breaking‘ artists. A nice person wrote about us for Elle magazine, another nice person mentioned us on the Rolling Stone website and we got asked to do a feature for The Japan Times once. Sometimes we are known for silly things like fighting with Mr.Oizo on twitter (handbags yo) and getting a Triple J DJ to mention us while playing a Skrillex record. We also did a really fun (if maybe not super-successful) collaboation with Shinichi Osawa for his SO:2 Remixes album. One of the remixes, by Edwin van Cleef, actually GOT RELEASED outside of Japan!!

There is loads of other stuff we should mention. But this is already quite long. The blog exceeded any expectations we had a very long time ago so now we try to focus on just posting things we like, sometimes a bit stupid stuff but those sort of music blogs don’t really exist so much and we kinda wish a few more like that would return.. oh well. If you came here for stats btw, uh.. no idea, turned them off a year ago.
