‘Hide‘ (featuring Miss Kittin on vocals) is the first single to be released from Kris Menace‘s ‘Features‘ album. An album which is made up of, well, uh, featurings. I’m sure you already worked that out and you really didn’t need us to say that.
‘Hide‘ (ボーカルにMiss Kittin をフィーチャー) はKris Menace のMiss Kittin がボーカルとしてフィーチャーしているファーストシングルが収録されているアルバム、 ‘Features‘ からのファーストシングルです。わざとややこしく書きましたが、単なる遊び心です。
It’s a track that sounds, quite reassuringly, like a Kris Menace track. We don’t say this that often, because everybody says it these days, ‘it’s really well produced‘. The mood and atmosphere of it is also quite fitting for this time of year and what we mean by that is, it’s not a ‘summertime-banger‘. In a way, it’s a bit like Ladytron (when they were good) mixed with hints of Italo-Disco.
Kris Menace らしい気持ちが明るくなる様なトラックになっていて、誰もが使うような表現はしたくないんですが、本当に見事な出来のトラックなのです。しかもこの季節にピッタリはまるような雰囲気も素敵。調子が良かった時のLadytron とイタロディスコを混ぜたような、そんな感じがします。
