Discosocks – Motivation

I think we were one of the first blogs to ever post Discosocks, he actually credits us with getting him a show. Which is nice thing for him to say (that picture is what Discosocks looks like IRL, he’s a real person and not socks OMG). He’s since had his productions supported by; Edwin Van Cleef, Lenno, Go Go Bizkitt and His Majesty Andre. Which is most definitely a good group of people to have championing you, especially as they aren’t rubbish.

私達は恐らくDiscosocks を初めに紹介したブログの一つだと思うですが、実際彼はそれもあってブッキングが入って来たとも言ってくれています。（因みにこの写真は彼本人、靴下じゃなくてガッカリした人はごめんなさい） 彼はEdwin Van Cleef, Lenno, Go Go Bizkitt, Andre なんかのサポートも受けています。なかなか良い感じのラインナップだと思いませんか?

He’s recently joined the Heavy Disco Records crew, it’s the sister label of MofoHifi. He has a new track out on October 8th, it’s called ‘Motivation‘ and it’s the type of track which is just unashamedly funky, crazy and quite hyper-active. If you don’t have the urge to dance to it, you are probably a stone man with a heart of stone.

そんな彼が最近、Heavy Disco Records に仲間入り。こちらはMofoHifi の姉妹レーベルで、今月8日にニュートラックがリリースされます。’Motivation‘ というタイトルで、ストレートに惜しみもなくファンキーでクレージーなハイテンショントラックになっています。これを聞いて体が動かない人はちょっと問題ありかもしれないですよ。要注意。

And then, you should download his Thrust Mixtape. We don’t really post mixtapes anymore, and this is sort of breaking a rule we gave ourselves about posting mixtapes at the start of the year… so, it must be pretty darn good.

そして、Thrust Mixtape も要チェック。皆さん知ってるとは思いますが、最近ここではミックステープはあんまりポストしてなくて、今年の初めにもうしない、的な事も言ったけれど、それでもポストするっていう事は…期待しちゃって良いって事ですよ。
