Allen Walker – Solanin EP

You wait 4 years for an artist to release an ep, and he then goes and releases two in a year. Then again, I would expect nothing less from the unpredictable production force that is Allen Walker. The “Solanin” EP is much more of a ‘proper’ release than his first, the “I am Allen Walker” EP.  With “Solanin” he gets to showcase his musicality and that he’s capable of more than just sampling (although, he is good at that) and has the potential to make songs in his own right.

EPのリリースを待つ事4年。遂にリリースと思えば、同じ年に更に違うリリース。と、全く予想不可能なのが、Allen Walker。そんな彼のリリースされたEP,”Solanin“ は、ファーストEP、”I am Allen Walker”に比べるとかなり成長したように思えます。このリリースでは彼がサンプリング以外にも色々出来る、という事を証明しています。( 勿論サンプリングだってちゃんとしたスキルですけど ) 今後も良い感じの音楽を作ってくれそうな予感がしちゃいます。
