Glitches – Dust & Shadow (The Penelopes Remix)
French duo The Penelopes have remixed London band, Glitches and their song “Dust & Shadow“. Where as the original track treads some quite Foals-ish (first album Foals) vibes, The Penelopes give it an 80′s synth hook and they make good use of the bass parts. It’s sound is slightly familiar but it will get lodged in your brain quite quickly if you give it a couple of listens. The Axl Rose-ish vocals, which become quite strong towards the end, won’t be for all though.
フランス人デュオ The Penelopes がロンドンのバンド、Glitches の ”Dust & Shadow” をリミックス。オリジナルは、Foals (ファーストアルバム時の) に似た感じに対してThe Penelopes は、それを80′sなシンセフックとベースをうまく使ってアレンジ。ちょっぴり聞き覚えのあるサウンドだけど、何回か聞くとかなり頭に残ります。もしかしたらAxl Rose っぽいヴォーカルがちょっと強すぎるって感じる人もいるかもしれませんが。
