Estate – Nuclear City EP

Crazily underrated electro-funk trio Estate have just released their ‘Nuclear City EP’ on Mullet Records. The release is very much something that sounds like it came from Eighties. However, it never feels forced and like a stylistic choice. I would say this is ‘guilty-pleasure’ music.. but, there really is nothing to feel guilty about when the music is this good.

どうしてもっと注目されないのか全く解らないエレクトロファンクなトリオの Estate。そんな彼らが ’Nuclear City EP’ を Mullet Records からリリース。コチラ80年代まっしぐら、なんだけれど別に押しつけがましいかんじも全く無くて、まぁギルティープレジャーではあるんだけれど是非とも自信を持って楽しんで頂きたい、そんなリリースです。

Gigameshもお気に入りのようでリミックスだってありますよ。

And, if you can remember as far back as 2009, their track ‘In The Red‘ finally gets a proper release. They’ve polished it up quite nicely too.

更に、覚えている人がどれ位いるかは謎ですが、2009年に作ったトラック、’In The Red‘ もやっとリリースになりました。 ちゃんと新しく磨かれていて良い感じ。
