Underworld – Caliban’s Dream
So, the Olympics opening ceromony was on yesterday and like a good little Londoner I watched it. It started off quite dodgy and then got better towards the end. The music of Underworld featured quite heavily throughout the proceedings, with the track ‘Caliban’s Dream‘ being a slightly guilty-pleasure cheese highlight (I do mean that in a positive way).
オリンピックが始まりました。 勿論良きロンドン市民と昨日の開会式を見たんですが(私は違うけど、ちゃんとリアルタイムで見ましたよ)、その中で、Underworld の ’Caliban’s Dream‘ が使われていて、なんだかギルティープレジャーだけどテンションが上がったり。
It features (amongst others) Alex Trimble of Two Door Cinema Club on vocals, which provided a, ‘wtf, did I just see tdcc on the Olympics?‘ for me. Anyway, I bought this off iTunes just now (feeling a bit like a bro who watches X-Factor right now) and if you missed it, listen below. Oh yeah, for some reason it reminds me of Monkey Island, that’s why there is a Monkey Island gif at the top of the post….
更には、Two Door Cinema Club のAlex Trimble が歌を歌っていたりと、’え? tdcc がオリンピックに?‘なんて瞬間もあったりして。そんな中、iTunes にてこれを購入してみたんですが、聞いた事の無い人は是非この機会にチェックしてみて下さい。どういう訳か、 Monkey Island を思い出しちゃうんです。(上のgif参照)
