Boys Noize – What You Want.
“What You Want” is the first track to be unveiled from the forthcoming Boys Noize album, “Out Of The Black“. Lots of people are just copy/pasting what Rolling Stone wrote and saying it sounds like Kraftwerk, uh… it doesn’t. Basically, it sounds like ‘Oi Oi Oi era‘ Boys Noize with that Kid Alex ghostbusters sound thrown in. Which means it’s very good and I’m now far too excited for an album that isn’t released till October 2nd.
“What You Want” はBoys Noize のニューアルバム、”Out Of The Black” からの初お披露目のトラック。

let me rephrase what Rolling stone and others say: the refrain sounds like kraftwerk- robot voice !!! Which is totally true… that voco is kraftwerk like and since Alex Rhida is german the analogy was rightful
Don’t be such an harsh.. (jealousy again???)

@Axwell.
This is the second quite penisey comment you’ve left. I’m glad you’ve ditched the faux broken english for this one though, appreciated.
It doesn’t sound like the Kraftwerk ‘voco’, I suggest you go listen to Kraftwerk some more. ‘The Man Machine’ is my favourite, although I quite like ‘The Mix’ too. It’s quite hard to sound like Kraftwerk as they make quite a few of their instruments it’s why people talk about them so much. You are right about the weakness of “BOYS NOIZE IS GERMAN, THIS IS ELECTRONIC, MUST MEAN IT’S KRAFTWERK’ though… weird you should defend that and criticise it in the same paragraph though
.
And yes, I am mad jealous of Rolling Stone. Oooh. If only I could be a magazine that has existed since for-fucking-ever… grrr.
Or maybe, I thought it was interesting that the person writing about the track said that, as a fan of both.. I thought it was a strange comparison. It’s also interesting how lots of people have copied that, I geniuenly find stuff like this interesting…
IDK mang…I like and respect Boys Noize a shit ton and I still think Yeah is one of the best electro tracks I’ve ever heard and is one of the reasons I got into this type of music…but this kind of feels a little fragmented at points–i guess some people like that, but i just don’t know…i guess im just too pussy for hard hitting tracks and should go drown myself in disco

The track is actually a bit of a grower, especially the second half of it. I totally get what you mean by the fragmented comment though, he’s always been a bit like that. It sometimes works, it’s sometimes annoying.
And yeah, rather this than ‘Money Making’.
It does sound a little like Girls from The Prodigy
I think that axwax chap must be a troll or a simpleton. Neither professions are admirable as both are rather unfortunate ones.
