It’s not often we feature Battles on the blog, however we are partial to a bit of Warp Records. Anyway, they are doing a 4 part remix release from their 2nd album “Gross Drop” this year. The sort-of-video above is a remix of “Wall Street” by Gui Boratto, which is in the first release. Totally different from the original, very dramatic (almost over the top), a bit gloomy but, it is really beautifully done. Totally worth checking out.
いつもブログをチェックしてる中にどれ位Battlesファンがいるか、検討もつきません。“いかにもWarp Recordsなバンド”なんて思ってる人もいるはず。でも個人的には彼らはカッコイイと思ってます。まぁ、なにを紹介いたいかと言うと、彼らは今年セカンドアルバム“Gross Drop”のトラックを使った4つのリミックスリリースをする予定で、このビデオはその第一弾に収録されている、Gui Borattoによる“Wall Street”です。オリジナルと全く違いますが、すごくドラマチックで（やり過ぎな位）、ちょっと重たくて、でも美しい! とりあえずチェックしてみては?
