The return of Keenhouse has gone slightly unoticed in the blogosphere, with synth-wizard releasing a new EP, “The Summer Society” on his own label, Sunlinxx. Those expecting the Sesame Street synth vibes of his Civic Transit EP are going to be a little surprised, this EP still sounds like Keenhouse, but, this a producer who has matured a fair bit since you’ve last heard him….
Keenhouseが戻ってきた!っていうのを知らない人もいるんじゃないでしょうか?シンセを自由自在にあやつる彼がEPをリリースします。その名も”The Summer Society”でリリースは彼のレーベルSunlinxxから。前作Civic Transit EPのセサミストリート的な感じとはちょっぴり雰囲気も変わっていて、もちろんKeenhouseらしさはそのままだけど、ちょっと大人っぽくなったというか、そんな感じなのです。
Lead track, “The Summer Society”, is the standout. Classic house-pianos meets squelchy synths, with a little bit of Jazz thrown in… and it builds… boy does it build.
リードトラックの”The Summer Society”はリードにふさわしいクラシックなピアノハウスにシンセが混ざってて、ちょっとジャズっぽさもあったり、そして展開の仕方ナイスな素晴らしいトラックです。
