Architecture in Helsinki – Escapee remix comp.

After we featured the Jad & The Ladyboy remix of Architecture in Helsinki’s “Escapee”. Some other producers rightly got in contact with their entries. Which inspired us to look at some other entrants… and here are our findings!

Jad & The LadyboyによるArchitecture in Helsinkiの”Escapee”をフィーチャーしてから他のプロデューサーからも彼らのエントリーに関するメールが送られてきまして、って事で他のエントリーもちょっとチェックしてみる事にしてみました。

Frames is a producer from Sydney, who loves handclap disco. Which means we like him already. Really strong remix, which builds really well and ends with a joyful flourish. Which is probably he’s called it a “Spreadin’ Joy” remix.

Framesはハンドクラップディスコが大好物なシドニーのプロデューサー、この時点で私達的に高感度大!なかなか強いリミックスで展開が見事。そして終り方も豪華というか。リミックスの名前が“Spreadin’ Joy” っていうのにも納得。

SVRA, is from Jakarta, Indonesia. He’s gone down the tropical disco route for his remix, it’s filled with lots of nice and subtle touches.

SVRAはインドネシア・ジャカルタ出身で、彼のリミックスはなんともトロピカルなディスコ。派手ではないけれど素敵なポイント多いです。

We’ve featured Italian producer Venice before on the blog and his remix is certainly interesting, it goes in quite a few directions but it all makes sense in the end.

前にも登場した事のあるイタリア人プロデューサーVenice。彼のリミックスも面白いですよ。なんだかバラエティ豊かな感じになってるけれど最終的には綺麗にまとまっています。

Voltaire Twins, are a brother/sister-fronted disco pop band from Perth. They’ve gone the 80′s synth-pop route with their remix and it certainly stands out from the other entrants that attempted a similar thing.

Voltaire Twinsはパース出身の兄弟ディスコポップバンド。80年代シンセポップさが売りの彼らのリミックスは、他の似たようなタイプのリミックスの中でも郡を抜いて目立っていますよ。

“Apatical Doc” is somebody who didnt leave any info on their soundcloud, so, from the sound of their remix, I’m presuming it could be Nyan Cat in disguise. A very fun remix, if a little short.

“Apatical Doc“のsoundcloudには何も情報が載っていないのでかなり詳細は謎。リミックスはと言うと、実はNyan Catなんじゃないか？と思うんですが、短いととっても楽しい感じ。

Matt Raw is a Guitar teacher from Melbourne Australia. It’s a fairly simple remix, nothing flashy, but the intro and use of Xylophone and Guitars are really quite cute.

Matt Rawはオーストラリア・メルボルンのギターの先生だそうです。リミックスはシンプル、特に目立つものはないかもしれません、が、イントロと木琴とギターのサウンドがとっても可愛らしいリミックスです。
