Walter Sobcek is a duo that is based in France and Germany. Other than this, the rest is a mystery (it took a bit of stalking to figure that out).

Walter Sobcekはフランスとドイツで活動を主にしている２人組みでそれ以外は謎につつまれたミステリアスなデュオです。

For the best part of year they’ve had quite a few blogs weak at the knees with their lush sounding music, yes it’s got that nostalgic 80′s yacht funk/pop thing going on. But Walter Sobcek have this ability to sprinkle magic in places most artists would miss, with them it’s all about ‘the listen’ and on every repeat listen of their music you are rewarded with something you didn’t notice first time round.

既にいくつかのブログでも絶賛されている彼らですが、サウンド的にはノスタルジックな８０年代サウンド、ファンク、ポップが特徴です。そして他のアーティストにはなかなか出来ないようなマジックもチラホラ聞こえてきたりで聞けば聞くほど色んな良さが発見できる、そんな魅力もあったりします。

This year they have been busy working away on new material and have produced two of the best remixes of the year for NightWaves and Housse De Racket. Especially the one they did on Housse, it’s startling how clever it is.

そして今年はニューマテリアルやリミックス製作で忙しかったようですが、その中でもお勧めなリミックスはNightWavesとHousse De Racketのもの。特にHousseの方はとっても賢いリミックスですよ。

They got in contact a week or so ago to ask if we would be interested in posting their new track, a cover of Hall and Oates ‘She’s Gone’, it was basically a no-brainer for us. We won’t blather on anymore… think you have the message by now…  you’re in for a real treat.

そんな彼らからちょっと前に連絡がありまして、新しいトラックをポストしないか？という内容でした。こちらはHall and Oatesの’She’s Gone’のカバーでかなりお勧めなので取り合えずチェックしてみてください。
