Quentin Dupieux has made a movie. Why does anybody care? Because Quentin Dupieux is Mr. Oizo and last time he made a movie the soundtrack was done by him and Ed Banger freindz. This time it’s the same case as ‘Gaspard ‘Justeece‘ Augé‘ takes his place on the soundtrack next to Mr. Oizo.

The movie????? You wanna know about that? It’s called ‘Rubber’ and it’s about…

A group of spectators is watching a mock-projection in the middle of the desert. They make comments on the scenes of the “film” as it is occurring before their eyes: Robert, a tire that has been abandoned in the desert, suddenly comes to life, for no reason. He learns how to get around, explores the desert and discovers in himself a passion for destroying insects and various lost items. Robert soon develops a telepathic gift, which gives him the ability to destroy anything he wants, without moving…”

It’s about a tire that kills stuff.

This is the trailer… not the ‘soundtrack version’. It’s the boring version…

And this is a track from the soundtrack…. it’s sounds more Mr.Oizo than ‘guy from justeece’ but it’s tagged as both so whateverz.

そしてこっちがサントラからのトラック。どちらかというとJusticeってよりMr. Oizoのサウンドの方が強く出ていますね。

Mr. Oizo & Gaspard Augé – Rubber (Original Mix)

You can hear the rest of tracks on ‘exclusive by Kidz For Collette‘ and read a press release in French on La Friendly.

サントラはKidz For Collette、フランス語が読める人はLa Friendlyにプレスリリースがあります。

  1. This EP is dope!

I heard the touch of gaspard and oizo on the 3 tracks personally.

Tricycle express sounds like planisphère for me, i note some sounds of “stress” on rubber too.

  2. sux a$s
